About Tindrift

Tindrift is a tactical slide-and-merge roguelike. One swipe slides the WHOLE tray — your soldiers and the shadows alike — so every move is a puzzle you plan several steps ahead. Few moves, big consequences.

MERGE & EVOLVE
Two soldiers of the same class collide and merge into a higher rank. Build a vanguard tank, a healing medic, a long-lane marksman, a poisoner, a buffer — six classes, each with its own battlefield role.

HUNT & DESCEND
The exit portal stays sealed until you clear the floor's kill quota. Between floors, spend scrap at the tinker station: heal your squad, rank them up, recruit fresh soldiers, raise barricades, or stock active tactics like pits, bombs, stuns and shields.

FIVE THEMED WORLDS
Climb the campaign through five hand-crafted acts — the Sunken Tray, the Rust Vault and beyond — each with its own map texture, ambience and enemy roster. Fog-of-war floors, timed shutter gates, maze layouts, curse tiles and boss fights keep every descent fresh.

DUEL A FRIEND (1v1)
Challenge a friend to an asynchronous mirror duel: negotiate the rules together, draft a squad, then race the SAME seeded board. Send sabotage between floors, watch a replay of their round, and battle across a best-of series until one army falls. Just share a 6-character match code — no account needed.

DETERMINISTIC BY DESIGN
Every run is built from a seed, so the game is perfectly fair: the same inputs always produce the same board. No pay-to-win, no random punishment — only your decisions.
