About Status Keeper
Status Keeper is an independent utility for managing status media. Choose a folder through Android's system picker to browse photos and videos that are already on your phone and keep the moments you choose.
PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
• Browse separate photo and video collections, with the newest items first.
• View photos, zoom in and swipe between items.
• Play videos, pause, seek and enable repeat playback.
SAVE AND SHARE
• Save copies to Download/StatusKeeper on your phone.
• Select multiple items to save or share, with duplicate-content protection.
• Manage copies in Saved. Deleting there removes only the copy saved by this app.
• Share through Android's share sheet or open WhatsApp's media sharing screen. You confirm the send.
USEFUL EXTRAS
• Connect WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business or a custom media folder separately.
• Optional automatic saving and new-status notifications. Android controls background timing; updates are not real-time.
• Direct Chat: choose a country code, enter a phone number and an optional message, then open a WhatsApp conversation without first adding a contact. You confirm the message in WhatsApp.
• Choose from multiple interface languages, including English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
GET STARTED
1. View the status you want in WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business.
2. Follow Status Keeper's guide to grant access to the folder containing that status.
3. Preview available photos or videos, then save or share them.
The app can only read media that still exists in an authorized folder. It cannot download unseen statuses from WhatsApp servers or recover expired or deleted files. Compatibility and background scheduling depend on Android, WhatsApp and device settings.
Save or share only with the owner's permission and respect other people's privacy and rights. Status Keeper is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.
