About Screen Mirroring: Cast to TV
Screen mirroring and cast to TV in your home Wi-Fi: Beamora puts your phone screen, photos, videos and music on the big screen of your smart TV.
SCREEN MIRRORING WITH SOUND
• Mirror your phone to the TV with sound (Android 10 and newer)
• Upright or sideways, the picture adapts by itself
• Choose the quality: smooth, HD or Full HD
• Little delay with the Beamora TV app on Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV with Fire OS 6+
• Also on Chromecast, and in the web browser of Samsung, LG and other smart TVs: open the short address from the app on the TV
• Show websites, presentations and your favorite apps to the whole room
CAST TO TV: PHOTOS
• Single photos or whole albums on the big screen
• Slideshows at the speed you like, from 3 to 20 seconds per photo
CAST TO TV: VIDEOS
• Your videos by folder, played as a playlist
• Pause, seek, volume and next video from your phone
• Continue where you stopped
• Subtitles from SRT files (Beamora TV app and Chromecast)
CAST TO TV: MUSIC
• Your own songs on the TV speakers, in order or shuffled
• Control from the lock screen and with the volume buttons
MORE
• Send a direct video or stream link (MP4, M3U8) to the TV
• Recently sent: one tap and it is on the TV again
• Shortcut to your phone's own cast function (Miracast, Smart View)
• Light and dark design, twelve languages
HOW TO MIRROR YOUR PHONE TO THE TV
1. Connect phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi. On Android TV, Google TV or Fire TV with Fire OS 6+, open the Beamora TV app.
2. Open Beamora, tap “Connect” and pick your TV from the list. The first time with Beamora TV, type the four-digit code or scan the QR code. After that, your phone remembers the TV.
3. Tap “Mirror screen”, set quality and sound, and start. To send photos, videos or music, just open them and tap one.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Do I need a cable or an adapter for screen mirroring?
No. Beamora uses your home Wi-Fi for mirroring and TV cast.
Beamora finds no TV. What can I do?
Switch the TV on, check that both use the same Wi-Fi (guest networks often keep devices apart) and turn off a VPN on the phone. You can also scan the code or type the address of the TV.
Does the sound play on the TV?
Yes, on phones with Android 10 and newer. On older phones the picture works without sound.
WORKS WITH
Chromecast and TVs with Chromecast built-in, Google TV, Android TV and Fire TV with Fire OS 6+ (with the Beamora TV app), and smart TVs with DLNA such as Samsung, LG, Sony, Philips, Hisense and Panasonic.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Phone and TV must be in the same Wi-Fi. A VPN on the phone can hide the TV.
• Netflix, Disney+ and other protected apps stay black when you mirror. They protect their content, this is the same in every mirroring app.
• Android ends mirroring when the phone screen locks.
• Without Pro: photos, videos and music without limits, with ads (never while something plays). Mirroring runs 15 minutes per session.
• Beamora Pro: unlimited mirroring, Full HD, no ads. Weekly, yearly or pay once for life.
Beamora is not affiliated with Google, Amazon, Samsung, LG or the other brands named here. They are named only to describe compatibility.
