Bay Zero: Golf Launch Monitor

Make the range count. Bay Zero turns your Garmin R10 into a complete range companion — pair your launch monitor, hit balls, and walk away knowing your real club distances, gapping and ball flight.

Built for golfers who already own a launch monitor and want a fast, focused app for the driving range and home practice. Not a swing coach. Not a social feed. Just clean shot data and live tracking, the way it should look.

LIVE SHOT TRACKING
• Pair your launch monitor and watch every shot land the moment you hit it.
• Carry distance, ball speed, club speed, smash factor, launch angle, spin rate, spin axis, apex and descent angle — every metric the R10 sends, in one clean view.
• Auto-detects your club, builds dispersion patterns and computes carry, apex and shape on the fly.

KNOW YOUR REAL CLUB DISTANCES (GAPPING)
• Per-club average carry, standard deviation, distribution histograms and gap-overlap warnings.
• Your bag and your sessions stay in sync — every shot you hit feeds the gapping analytics.
• Stop guessing yardages on the course. Play to real club distances measured from your own swings.

VIRTUAL RANGE
• A clean 2D driving-range view of your shots, ball flight and dispersion.
• Use it as a home-simulator visualiser when you have no screen, or as an indoor golf practice display beside a hitting net.
• Replay any session shot by shot.

SMARTER PRACTICE MODES (PRO)
• Speed Training — a no-ball-required mode that uses the R10 to coach swing speed and club head speed, with per-club benchmarks that climb week by week.
• Gap Test — a structured 5 or 10 shot protocol per club that rebuilds clean, balanced gapping into a report you can save and compare.
• Golf Pong — a real-time multiplayer range game with cups, scoring and rounds, made for buddy sessions in the next bay.
• Play Holes — procedural holes where your real shots, constrained by your own bag gapping, decide the outcome.

BUILT FOR THE RANGE
• Auto weather: temperature, altitude and humidity feed the ball-flight model, so carry numbers match what your ball actually does today.
• Haptic and audio feedback on every shot — your eyes stay on the ball, not the phone.
• Sunlight-readable shot screen, dark theme by default.

SUPPORTED LAUNCH MONITORS
• Garmin Approach R10.
• Bay Zero is built device-agnostic. As more launch monitors are added, your bag, your sessions and your gapping carry over with no rebuild.

BAY ZERO PRO
• Unlimited session library — every range visit you record stays in your history, ready to compare.
• All structured modes: Speed Training, Gap Test, Golf Pong, Play Holes.
• CSV export — your shots are yours.
• 7-day free trial. Anything you record during the trial stays in your library forever, even if you don't subscribe. Free users keep one auto-saved session.

WHY GOLFERS USE BAY ZERO
• Range sessions become structured — you leave the bay knowing what worked and what didn't.
• Real club distances replace guesswork on the course.
• Ball flight you can actually see, with carry and shape called out shot by shot.
• A focused range shot tracker that stays out of the way while you hit balls.

PRIVACY
Bay Zero is local-first. Your shots, sessions, bag and gapping live on your phone. Location is used only to look up local weather for the ball-flight model. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is sold, no accounts, no third-party analytics.

REQUIREMENTS
• Android phone with Bluetooth Low Energy.
• A Garmin Approach R10 (more launch monitors coming).
• Location permission for Bluetooth scanning.
