About PixelPanic
PixelPanic is a research-based mental health app that analyzes and understands users' mood, activity, anxiety, and depression patterns using digital phenotypic data collected through wearable devices and smartphones.
Using AI technology and data, it deeply explores an individual's behavioral and psychological state,
and identifies the causes of emotional changes.
Key Features
1. Digital Phenotypic Data Analysis:
It comprehensively analyzes a user's mental health by combining survey responses (mood, stress, activity, etc.) with wearable device data (heart rate, sleep patterns, etc.).
2. Behavioral and Emotional Pattern Analysis Support:
The app analyzes users' activity and emotional changes based on the collected data. This data is used to scientifically explore the mental health and behavioral patterns of research participants.
Research results are analyzed for academic purposes.
3. Research and Academic Use:
The collected data will be used in an anonymized form for academic purposes in the field of mental health and behavioral research, with IRB (Institutional Review Board) approval.
What is a Digital Phenotypic Data?
A digital phenotype refers to data collected in real time through digital devices used in daily life.
Included data: accelerometer data, call/text frequency, sleep patterns, heart rate, etc.
This data is used to understand individual behavioral changes and emotional states.
PixelPanic's Goal
PixelPanic aims to scientifically explore and understand emotional and behavioral patterns using research-based data.
Data generated within the app is not shared externally, and all information is anonymized and securely processed.
Background Location Information Usage Guide
PixelPanic collects background location data every 15 minutes with the user's explicit consent to precisely analyze the user's movement path and activity data.
This information is analyzed along with biometric data collected through wearable devices (e.g., heart rate, sleep patterns, etc.) to study the correlation between activity patterns and emotional states.
The collected location information is not shared externally and is securely stored and processed solely for research and analysis purposes.
Users can change or revoke location permissions at any time through the app's settings. Further details are set out in our Privacy Policy.
