About BeatPulseTap

BeatPulseTap is a fully offline rhythm tapping game. Instead of streaming songs, it uses original beat tracks that are built into the app, so every practice is available without an internet connection and every rhythm stays fully visible even with the sound turned off.

HOW IT WORKS

Three wide lanes run down the screen with a judgment line at the bottom. Beat markers fall along the lanes on a preset rhythm. When a marker reaches the line, tap the matching lane. Each lane is distinguished by its color, pattern and letter, so the playfield is easy to read at a glance.

FIVE-STEP JUDGMENT

Every tap is graded against a clear timing window:
- Perfect: within 40 ms
- Good: within 85 ms
- Early: 85–140 ms too soon
- Late: 85–140 ms too late
- Miss: beyond 140 ms

Consecutive hits build a combo. A miss breaks the combo but never ends the level, so you can always finish and improve.

40 ORIGINAL LEVELS IN FOUR CHAPTERS

The practice library contains at least 40 original levels across four chapters:
- Calm: steady single taps on a fixed four-beat pulse
- Syncopated: off-beat rhythms with alternating adjacent lanes
- Alternating: wider lane movement with simultaneous double taps
- Compound: everything combined, including short hold actions

Extra actions are introduced gradually. Earlier levels use only simple taps; alternating lanes appear from level 9, simultaneous doubles from level 17, and short holds from level 25. Each level lasts between 45 and 120 seconds.

HOLD ACTIONS

Hold markers show a start, sustain and release state. Press and keep the finger down until the marker is filled. Releasing too early counts as a miss.

CALIBRATION

The first calibration guides you through eight taps following a flashing ring. The suggested offset is used only on this device to align note timing with your reaction speed. You can restore the default offset at any time, and an extra manual offset lets you fine-tune further.

PAUSE AND RESUME

You can pause at any moment. Play always resumes with a three-beat visual countdown so the rhythm continues smoothly. If you leave the app or take a call during a level, the game pauses automatically and restores with the same three-beat countdown.

RESULTS AND ANALYSIS

After each practice you see your accuracy, score, max combo and the count of every judgment type. A deviation insight shows whether you tend to tap early or late. Results are also broken down by lane and by 15-second time segments, and the weakest segment of the level can be practiced again on its own as a focused retraining session.

PROGRESS AND SETTINGS

Level completion, highest accuracy and recent scores are saved on your device. Preferences include sound, haptic feedback, left-handed lane layout, an enlarged judgment line, reduced motion and assist patterns. Turning sound or haptics off does not change the gameplay.

PRIVACY

Everything runs locally. No accounts, no cloud sync, no ads, and no personal data is collected. Calibration offsets and scores stay on your device.
