MoodMap: Mood Tracker

Log how you feel in about ten seconds. Come back a month later and see what your
moods have been doing.

MoodMap is a mood journal that stays on your phone. No account, no sign-up, no
cloud. Your entries are yours.

WHAT YOU DO
• Pick an emotion from twelve, set how strongly you felt it, and save
• Add a note, tags (work, sleep, family, health…) or a place if you want to —
every one of them is optional
• Logging something you forgot? Back-date it to the day it happened

WHAT YOU GET BACK
• A calendar heatmap of the last weeks, coloured by how the days went
• Average mood, with an honest read on whether it is drifting up or down
• Your patterns by time of day, weekday, place and tag — so you can see that
Tuesday mornings are rough, or that you feel better after exercise
• Nothing is invented from thin data: a card with too few entries behind it
simply does not appear

KEEPING THE HABIT
• Optional daily reminders at times you choose, off by default
• Levels, streaks and badges for showing up — and freeze tokens so one missed
day does not wipe out a month of work

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your entries, notes, tags and places never leave your device
• No account and no server — there is nothing for us to read, and nothing to
leak
• No GPS. "Place" is a label you tap: Home, Work or Outside. The app cannot
tell where you are
• No analytics and no tracking of what you do in the app
• Works completely offline. Airplane mode changes nothing except the ads

ACCESSIBLE
• Light, dark and system themes
• A high-contrast palette for the calendar and charts
• Full screen-reader labels, and text that follows your phone's font size

FREE, WITH ADS
MoodMap is free and supported by ads. Nothing is locked behind one — there is a
single optional ad you can choose to watch for a bonus streak freeze, and
skipping it costs you nothing else. No emotion, note, tag or place is ever sent
to the ad network.
