BAOBOB Directory

BAOBOB is the acronym for Bay Area Organization of Black Owned Businesses. And that’s no accident. We take pride in the natural connection between our name and the baobab tree. One of the oldest species of trees on the planet, the baobab tree is indigenous to the African content and is commonly known as the “tree of life” because every part of the baobab tree nourishes the people around it.

Our mission is to create seamless connections between Black businesses and their customers. This official app is a tool that can be used to connect to local Black-owned businesses.
