About Ballista: Ballistic Calculator
Ballista turns your rifle, scope and load into DOPE you can trust, on your phone and on a card taped to your stock. Made for hunters, competitors and duty shooters. Works offline.
RANGE IN, DOPE OUT
• Elevation and wind in MOA or MIL, in your turret's clicks: UP 6.75 is 27 clicks
• Big numbers you can read in full sun, in red at night and with gloves on
• A wind clock with a bracket around your wind call, plus shot angle and density altitude
• Air from your phone's barometer, or tap Get Weather
• Velocity, energy and time of flight at the target, and where the bullet goes transonic
DOPE CARDS THAT STAY RIGHT
• Print a card that matches the screen click for click, from a scope-cap strip to a full page
• Stage cards with your targets in order and three wind columns; Shoot it puts the whole stage on screen in big type
• A column for each place you shoot, and elevation at five temperatures
• Ballista tells you when the air no longer matches your card

Ballista's solver (G1/G7, stepped BC, spin drift, aerodynamic jump, Coriolis, out to 2,500 yd) is checked against an independent open-source solver and makers' published tables. Solutions are estimates: confirm zero, velocity and conditions with live fire. For lawful hunting and sport shooting.
Ballista never saves your location. Get Weather sends it to MET Norway rounded to about 7 miles, only when you tap.
