About Busbar Calc
Busbar Calc is a focused utility for preliminary busbar current and load checks.
Enter:
- Copper or aluminum material
- Width, thickness, and parallel bar count
- Single flat, paired, or stacked arrangement
- Open air, ventilated enclosure, enclosed cabinet, or insulated installation
- Ambient temperature
- Target load current
- An optional project or feeder note
The app calculates a simplified estimated ampacity, utilization percentage, status band, assumptions, and warning flags. Save estimates locally, reopen their details, delete individual records, or clear all history.
The My page shows the installed app version, native cache size, cache clearing, and an About dialog.
Busbar Calc is designed for preliminary planning and study. It is not a standards reference, certified sizing tool, thermal simulation, manufacturer table, or substitute for applicable electrical codes, manufacturer data, enclosure conditions, or qualified engineering review. Results must be independently verified before design, procurement, installation, or energization.
No account is required. Calculation history is stored locally on the device. Version 1 has no advertising, billing, analytics, cloud sync, or social sharing.
