Bad Gambler: Gambling Blocker

Bad Gambler is a free gambling blocker and bet blocker that helps you block gambling apps and websites, reduce gambling harm, and quit gambling for good.

Use Bad Gambler to create a gambling-free space when you need it most. Turn on blocking protection to avoid betting apps, casinos, sportsbooks, and gambling websites—or schedule blocks for high-risk times like evenings, weekends, payday, or whenever urges are strongest.

Gambling blocker for apps and websites

Bad Gambler helps block gambling apps and gambling websites you choose to avoid. It is built for people who want a practical bet blocker and recovery tool in one free app.

With your permission, Bad Gambler uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to provide app-blocking protection. It can detect when you open apps or browsers that match your blocking settings and show a blocking screen to help you follow your plan.

This permission is used only for blocking and recovery features. Bad Gambler does not read private messages, record audio, monitor private activity, collect sensitive information, change device settings without permission, or bypass Android privacy protections.

Choose your path

Quit gambling for good

Set up gambling blocking protection, track your gambling-free progress, manage urges, see time and money saved, reach milestones, find community support, and build momentum one day at a time.

Harm reduction and scheduled bet blocks

Not everyone is ready to stop gambling completely. Schedule gambling blocks for now, later, daily, or weekly. Create recurring blocks around the times you want extra distance from betting apps and gambling sites.

Free gambling recovery support

Bad Gambler is entirely free. App and website blocking, scheduled blocks, progress tracking, urge support, community support, and accountability features are available without payment.

Fine-grained blocking control

Block traditional gambling content such as online casinos, casino games, sportsbooks, sports betting, slots, poker, lottery, scratch cards, and gambling websites. You can also choose optional categories for Crypto & DeFi, high-risk trading, prediction markets, and investing apps or sites.

Track progress without judgment

Track your quit date, last gambling date, money saved, time saved, milestones, and relapse history. Bad Gambler is here to help you recover, reset, and keep going.

Community and accountability

Connect with others working toward gambling recovery, or add an accountability partner or sponsor for extra support. Bad Gambler helps you follow the protections you choose and create healthy distance from gambling.

Bad Gambler is not a casino app and does not provide gambling. It is a free gambling blocker, bet blocker, and recovery support app for people who want to reduce gambling harm, schedule limits, or quit gambling entirely.
