Azimuth Prep

Azimuth Prep is the study app built for land surveyors preparing for NCEES and state licensing exams. Whether you're taking the Fundamentals of Surveying (FS), Principles and Practice of Surveying (PS), or a state-specific exam, Azimuth Prep gives you the tools to pass.

PRACTICE QUESTIONS
Over 1,000 practice questions across the FS and PS exams, with more added regularly. Every question includes a detailed explanation with references to source material. Questions are written in the language surveyors actually use — not generic test-bank filler.

MULTIPLE STUDY MODES
Quick 10: answer 10 random questions in a few minutes
Topic Study: focus on a specific knowledge area or subtopic
Timed Practice Exams: simulate the real exam with weighted question distribution and a countdown clock
Missed Questions: drill the ones you got wrong
Weakest Subject: the app identifies your lowest-scoring knowledge area and targets it

SPACED-REPETITION FLASHCARDS
Flashcards powered by the SM-2 algorithm — the same system behind Anki. Cards you struggle with appear more often. Cards you know well fade into longer intervals. Study smarter, not harder.

AUDIO STUDY MODE
Listen to flashcards read aloud with text-to-speech. Start auto-play, lock your phone, and study hands-free while you work in the field. Adjustable playback speed from 0.5x to 3x.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
See your accuracy by knowledge area and over time
Compare your last 7, 30, or 90 days against the prior period
Review every question you've answered, flagged, or skipped
Know exactly where you're strong and where you need work

MULTIPLE EXAMS, ONE SUBSCRIPTION

BUILT FOR SURVEYORS
Azimuth Prep was built by a land surveyor who understands the licensing process. The questions, explanations, and study tools reflect real exam content and field practice — not AI-generated filler from a company that covers 100 different professions.
