Verdlo

Verdlo draws a garden plan for your own plot, to scale.

Type the size of your plot or draw its outline with a finger, mark the house and what has to stay, and say who uses the garden. Verdlo shows three ideas in a few minutes. Each one is a plan in metres with beds, paths, lawn and plants where they fit, a plant list with quantities and a cost range.

Free, without an account:
- Three ideas for your garden, each with a plan to scale.
- Plants chosen for light, soil and the climate of Poland and Central Europe, each with the reason it was picked.
- When children, dogs or cats use the garden, poisonous plants are left out, and thorny or spreading ones are marked.
- A watering plan for every bed.
- Change the plan by hand: hold a bed or a plant and drag it, on a 25 cm grid, with undo.
- Your garden is saved on the phone as you go and opens where you left it.
- The plan is drawn on your phone, also without internet.
- Polish and English, metres and feet, a light and a dark theme.

With an account (Sign in with Apple, Google or a code sent to your e-mail):
- My garden: the plan, the add-ons and the pictures of your saved garden in one place.
- A link to your garden for someone without an account. You can switch it off at any time.
- A reminder on Monday morning with how much water the garden needs.
- A picture of the plan on a photo of your own garden. Every picture is an illustration of the plan and says so.

What you can buy:
- My garden project: room for one more garden in your account, 20 pictures and all five add-ons (sprinklers and drip line, rainwater, lighting, slope, and an A3 sheet for the contractor). Bought once.
- 10 or 30 pictures. Bought once.
- Pro for firms: gardens without a limit, 30 pictures a month, every add-on and your firm's name on the contractor sheet. A subscription paid every month or every year.
- The garden through the year: a warning of what to cover, bring in or pick: from September before the first frost and before the first hard frost (-5 °C or below, when the garden has something to cover or to drain), from 15 April to 15 June before nights forecast at 0 °C or below (at most once a week when the garden has nothing to cover), and all year before a frost the plants in your garden cannot take; on Monday morning, how much water the garden needs by the forecast; on the first day of each month, the jobs for that month; and one picture a month. By e-mail and, if you allow notifications, on your phone. A subscription paid every month or every year. Pro for firms includes it.

Pro for firms and The garden through the year renew by themselves at the end of each period until you cancel them. Google Play takes the payment from your Google account. Cancel at any time in Google Play, under Payments and subscriptions; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. The app shows the price in your currency before you pay.

Good to know: Verdlo makes garden plans and ideas. It does not measure land, design drainage or find cables and pipes, so call the local utility locating service before you dig. Costs are estimates for your region. The plant data covers the temperate climate of Central Europe. The frost warning and the watering are worked out from the forecast for your region; your own garden can be a little colder or warmer.
