About Trazos: Trace Letters & ABC
Trazos is a Spanish-alphabet handwriting app for Android phones and tablets that teaches kids aged 4 to 6 to trace numbers and letters with a finger. It checks where each stroke starts, the order of the strokes and their direction, not just whether the finished drawing looks right.
A letter isn't a shape: it's a path. An "8" isn't drawn any which way, and the stem of a "b" comes before the bowl. Trazos checks that path, so the right stroke order is learned from the very first day.
WHAT IT DOES
• Traces the numbers 0 to 9 and the 27 letters of the Spanish alphabet, including Ñ, in uppercase and lowercase print letters.
• Includes 14 pre-writing levels (waves, loops, zigzags, bridges and caves) to warm up before the letters.
• 74 levels in 7 worlds: "Strokes", "Numbers", "Let's count", "Vowels", "Consonants", "Fruit and letters" and "My name".
• Two matching games: a quantity to its number, and each fruit to its first letter.
• "My name": the child traces their own name, letter by letter.
• Fruit stickers for stars earned and a diploma when every star is earned.
• Open practice: pick any letter or number.
• Letter and number names read aloud with the device voice, with a Listen button.
• Left-handed mode, high contrast and dark theme.
WHO IT IS FOR AND WHERE IT WORKS
For kids aged 4 to 6 (preschool, kindergarten and first grade) and for the parents and teachers who help them. The letters, the spoken names and the fruit game are all in Spanish, so it suits families who speak the language at home or want their child to learn to write it. Works on Android phones and tablets (Android 7.0 or later), and fully offline.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a world and a level.
2. Trace with a finger. With the full guide, numbered circles show where each stroke starts and arrows show which way it goes.
3. Tracing levels repeat in three stages: full guide, faint guide, no help. Each stage earns one star, and the stars turn into fruit stickers and a diploma. Every world is open from the start.
Getting it wrong costs nothing: no lives, no timer, no score to lose. There is an Undo button, a "Show me how" demo, and a child can start over as often as they like.
QUESTIONS PARENTS ASK
What age is Trazos for?
Kids aged 4 to 6 who are starting to write numbers and letters.
Which letters and numbers does it teach?
Numbers 0 to 9 and the 27-letter alphabet (5 vowels, 22 consonants, including Ñ), in uppercase and lowercase print letters.
Does Trazos teach the English alphabet?
No. The shapes are the same A to Z used in English, plus Ñ, but names are read aloud in Spanish and the fruit game uses Spanish words, so it is not an English ABC or phonics course.
Does it teach cursive?
No, only print letters and numbers.
How does Trazos teach a child to write a letter?
Each tracing level is done three times: full guide, faint guide, no help. The app checks the path and the order of the strokes, not just the final shape.
Does Trazos work without internet?
Yes. All the content ships inside the app and every level works offline.
Does Trazos have ads or in-app purchases?
No. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no accounts.
What data is collected?
The child's name, stars and settings are kept in the app's own storage on the device, and there are no accounts. The only thing sent is a crash report with device details (such as device model, system version and a random installation ID) if the app closes because of an error; it never includes the child's name or anything they do in the app.
Which languages does Trazos have?
The menus are in Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Russian and Chinese. The alphabet, the spoken names and the fruit game are always Spanish.
PRIVACY AND PURCHASES
No ads, purchases, subscriptions, accounts or tracking. Settings sit behind a simple sum for adults.
Sit next to your child while they use it. The goal is to get them ready to write with a pencil.
