Ever been out with friends for dinner and had trouble splitting the bill afterwards?

Can you simply divide the bill by 4? Would that be fair to Alice who ordered just a drink?

What if the bill was for $36.8? Do you really expect everyone to have exactly $9.2 each?

Suppose Bob gave $20 while Alice, Cecile and you pooled in $10 each. When the change comes, how much do you give back to Bob. And how much more do you, Alice and Cecile owe to Bob?

If Bob had brought his wife along, would you ask her to pay as well? Or would you expect Bob to cover her expenses? So how much does Bob need to pay now?

You need to count fast and you need to be fair at the same time. Your reputation is at stake here. Look no further now. CheckPlease! is here to save the day!
