YOUR JOURNAL STAYS WITH YOU

No Kavanah account or sign-in. No automatic journal uploads. The native Android app has no internet permission and stores your journal encrypted on your device. Choose a language in the app; your stories and names stay exactly as you wrote them.

• Keep local reminders; Android notification settings and battery restrictions can affect delivery.
• Record growth measurements, sizes and observations.
• Prepare appointment questions, record answers and export visit reports.
• Group memories into collections.
• Generate, edit and rearrange memory books, then export PDF or printable HTML.
• Choose specific records and PDF attachments for an encrypted package you can give to a professional. Kavanah does not send it automatically or create a hosted sharing link.

BACKUPS YOU CONTROL

Save an encrypted backup through Android's file picker to your device, Google Drive or another installed document provider. A cloud provider may need its own account and internet connection.

Every backup needs its matching key file AND password. Save the key file safely, separately from the encrypted bundle. Even we cannot decrypt your bundle without both. Lost keys and passwords cannot be recovered.

Restore a backup on another device, export readable HTML or JSON, or save the independent recovery page to decrypt locally without installing Kavanah. Readable HTML, JSON and PDF files are not encrypted. A restored backup replaces the destination journal after confirmation; devices do not sync automatically.
