About UniversalDeviceDetector
UniversalDeviceDetector is an all-in-one device signal scanner and sensor toolkit for Android. It helps you scan nearby Bluetooth devices, view connected Wi-Fi network details, read NFC tags, and monitor magnetic field activity using your phone sensors.
With Bluetooth scanning, you can detect nearby BLE devices and paired Bluetooth devices where Android allows access. Wi-Fi Radar shows useful network information such as SSID, BSSID, IP address, gateway, subnet, broadcast address, and local IPv4 details. NFC Reader lets you scan supported NFC tags and view available tag or NDEF data. Metal Detector and Magno Vision use your phone magnetometer to show magnetic activity, signal strength, and live graph readings.
Key features:
- Bluetooth device scanner
- Wi-Fi network radar
- NFC tag reader
- Metal detector using magnetometer sensor
- Magno Vision live magnetic graph
- Low, medium, and high signal indicators
- Recalibration controls for magnetic scanning
- Clear Android permission handling
- Simple and fast device inspection tools
UniversalDeviceDetector is useful for checking nearby device signals, inspecting Wi-Fi connection details, reading NFC tags, and monitoring magnetic field changes from one app.
Important: Results depend on your Android device hardware, Android version, permissions, and nearby signal conditions. Bluetooth device names may not appear if devices do not advertise a public name. Wi-Fi SSID and BSSID may require location permission and Location Services. NFC requires NFC-supported hardware. Magnetic detection requires a phone with a magnetometer sensor.
