Ask Safely: Private AI Chat

Ask Safely is a private AI assistant that forgets by default.

Ask anything and get a helpful answer. Your chat auto-deletes in 8 hours by default. Nothing you say is used to train AI, and there are no ads and no tracking. So you can ask what you actually want to ask.

HOW IT WORKS

Open the app and start typing. No account needed. Ask your question, get a clear answer, and watch the countdown. When it reaches zero, the chat clears: gone from your history. Want it gone sooner? Swipe to delete it instantly.

YOU DECIDE HOW LONG IT STAYS

Keep the 8-hour default, or choose 7 days or 30 days. You're in control every time.

EXPERTS ON CALL (Expert plan)

Four specialists for the things you actually need done:

• Researcher: looks things up, fast
• Writer: drafts emails and notes
• Troubleshooter: walks you through a fix
• Lookout: a second look before you act

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• Chats clear on your schedule: 8 hours by default, or 7 or 30 days
• Never used to train AI. That's contractual, not a promise
• Encrypted in transit and at rest
• Swipe to delete anything instantly
• No account required to start
• Powered by Claude on AWS

WHY WE BUILT IT

Most of what you say to an AI is scaffolding. The question about the rash. The vent about a coworker. The budget math at midnight. It helped in the moment, and it doesn't need to follow you around. When every word is kept forever, you start editing yourself. An assistant you can't be honest with isn't much of an assistant. So we built the one that forgets by default.

COMING SOON — MEMORY YOU CONTROL

It forgets your chats. It remembers what you tell it to. Soon, the things worth keeping get a home: a page you can read, with every line yours to edit or delete, anytime. Nothing lands without your yes. And your chats still clear.
