The Daily Dispatch has a long and rich history dating back to 1872. The newspaper has also always been at the forefront of exposing injustice in its region and advocating fair treatment for all South Africans. Such quality journalism has brought local and international recognition for the newspaper and its website, including the CNN African Journalist of the Year Award. The Dispatch – published from Monday to Saturday – covers issues and debates that should be a priority for every Eastern Cape reader
