KONEK is a platform design and built for micro-entrepreneur empowerment. The key take away is to provide the microentrepreneurs (MSMEs), the informal sellers, and the lowest segment of business owners (all of whom have been excluded by most of the ecommerce app), the much needed digital space and online selling opportunities, to empower them and enable them to escalate and elevate to be effective product providers. Parallel to this, through KONEK, MSMEs are connected to the common "tao" looking for cheaper alternatives. In the end, the winners are the MSMEs who are able to penetrate the digital commerce space, as well as the majority of the consumers/buyers in need of more alternative sources of more affordable products.
