Our app is specifically designed to improve the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations, including older adults, people with disabilities or illnesses that prevent them from caring for themselves, who are easily disoriented, or who may become unconscious. The main objective of the app is to facilitate the location of these people by their loved ones in case they leave their safe environment without prior notice. This is achieved by allowing family members to request and obtain the exact location of the person in order to assist or rescue them. This service is especially vital for individuals with conditions such as dementia, who may have difficulty returning home on their own. Additionally, our app includes a panic button that the person can press in emergency situations to send alerts with their current location. This allows, even before the person can lose consciousness or the ability to communicate, to alert others and request immediate help, thus increasing their chances of receiving timely and effective assistance.
