Denk: Hiç karşılaştık mı?

Could you have unknowingly been in the same place as a friend, a lover, or someone you've just met? Denk uses two pieces of information already present alongside your photos on your phone: where and when they were taken. It compares this information between two people who have mutually added each other and shows how many times your paths have crossed in the past.

FOUR LEVELS OF RESULTS
- The same moment — In the same place, no more than two hours apart. You were probably in the same crowd.
- The same day — You were in the same place but at different times. Maybe they arrived as you were leaving.
- The same week — You were in the same neighborhood a few days apart.
- The same period — You were in the same city within the same month.
We also show you the ones you narrowly missed. Sometimes the best story is the one missed by two hours.

YOUR PHOTOS NEVER LEAVE YOUR PHONE
Denk does not open, view, upload, or store any of your photos. It only reads the location and date tags provided by the operating system and blurs them before they even leave your device:
- The precise coordinates are converted into an area ID of approximately 150 meters.
- The shooting time is rounded to an hour.
- These two values are the only things sent to the server. Your address or the information at that moment cannot be reproduced.
You can see all the lines sent to the server as they are by going to the "What am I sharing?" screen within the application.

DOUBLE-SIDED CONSENT
No one can see your history without your consent. Two separate consents are required to generate a report: first, both parties must add each other, and then the person to whom the report is directed must also approve the request. If consent is not given, no data is compared or displayed. When the report is approved, only your common points are visible. No points where you don't intersect are shown to the other party.

COINCIDENCE — MEETING LAYER
You can meet people whose paths have crossed yours before. Not randomly: only people who have actually been in the same places as you will appear.
- It is a closed area. Unless you participate, no one can see you, and you can't see anyone.
- You can add up to five photos to your profile; the first three appear on your card, the last two only open when you match.
- The number of areas where you've crossed paths is visible; where it happened remains hidden until you both like each other.
- You choose and upload your profile photos; location, device, and date tags are completely removed during upload.
You can report and block a disruptive user from within the app.
