PhonePulse: Screen Time & Data

PhonePulse shows where your time, data and attention go, in one private dashboard. Everything is processed on your phone. There is no account, no sign-up and no cloud sync.

SCREEN TIME AND APP USAGE
• Daily screen time, app opens and session lengths
• Hour-by-hour view of when you use your phone most
• Per-app detail: time spent, launches, data used and notifications received
• Daily and weekly reports that compare today with your usual pattern

DATA USAGE
• Mobile and Wi-Fi data used today, per day and per app
• See which apps use the most data in the background
• Optional live speed notification showing current download and upload speed, which you turn on and off yourself

NETWORK HEALTH
• Connection quality, latency and Wi-Fi signal strength
• Timeline of connection changes and drops
• Built-in speed test to check your download and upload speed

NOTIFICATION HISTORY (OPTIONAL)
• Keep a searchable history of the notifications you receive, including ones you dismissed by accident
• See which apps notify you most and at what times
• Notification text is encrypted on your device
• Choose how long history is kept (7, 30 or 90 days, or forever)
• Messages that look like one-time codes are deleted automatically after about 10 minutes

INSIGHTS
• Plain-language observations about your usage, such as which apps you opened most or when your data use increased
• Neutral and factual: PhonePulse shows patterns and does not judge them

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
• Your usage, data, network and notification history stays on your device
• No account and no cloud backup
• Optional fingerprint or face lock for the notification history or the whole app
• Export your own summaries as CSV or JSON whenever you want
• Delete any category of data, or everything, from the Privacy Center at any time

PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED
• Usage access: needed for screen time, app opens and per-app data usage. Android asks you to turn this on in Settings.
• Notification access (optional): only needed if you turn on notification history.
• Notifications (optional): only needed if you turn on the live speed notification.
PhonePulse does not ask for access to your contacts, SMS, call logs, location, camera, microphone or files.

PhonePulse needs an internet connection to check your network quality and run speed tests.
