It is important to note that some newer EMV cards may have had certain information, such as the holder's name and transaction history, removed in order to protect the cardholder's privacy. This app is not a payment app and does not facilitate financial transactions. This NFC Credit Card Reader application can read public data from NFC credit and debit cards compliant with the EMV specification.

To use the NFC Credit Card Reader, you just have to hold a credit or debit card against the back of your device to read it. The NFC credit card reader detects the card number and card expiration date, which you can see on your mobile phone. In some new EMV cards, the holder name and the transaction history have been removed by the issuer to protect privacy.
