About Bore Record Plus
**Bore Record Plus** helps borewell drillers keep organized records of drilling sites, underground layers, drilling depths and where water was encountered.
When drilling at multiple locations, remembering the details of each site can be difficult. Bore Record Plus provides a simple way to record site information, document drilling progress layer by layer and review previous records by area.
### Record Borewell Sites
Create a record for each drilling site using a site label, area and drilling date. Keep site records organized so you can refer to them later.
### Log Drilling Layers
Build a drilling column layer by layer, recording what was encountered during drilling. Maintain a structured record of the ground layers observed at each site.
### Record Water Strikes
Mark the depth at which water was encountered, if any. Keep this information alongside the site's drilling record for future reference.
### Review Typical Depths by Area
Use your recorded site history to review typical depths and the range of depths at which water has been encountered in nearby locations. Results depend on the number and quality of records available for that area.
### Choose Your Preferred Units
Choose whether depths are displayed in feet or metres to suit your working preferences.
### Set a Minimum Record Threshold
Configure the minimum number of recorded sites required before the app displays a typical-depth figure for an area. This helps avoid presenting an estimate based on too few records.
### Built for Drilling Record-Keeping
Bore Record Plus is designed to help organize a driller's own historical site records in one place. It provides a structured record of site details, drilling layers and reported water strikes.
### Important Limitations
Bore Record Plus does not provide professional geological or hydrogeological advice. Typical depths are summaries of historical records, not guaranteed predictions for a new drilling site. Ground conditions and groundwater availability can vary significantly between locations.
The app does not guarantee that water will be found at any particular depth. Actual conditions can only be established through appropriate site assessment and drilling.
