No IR sensor in phone? Use this with ARDUINO, BLUETOOTH MODULE & generic IR LED.
Remote Control android app for use with Arduino and Bluetooth.
IMPORTANT: This app DOES NOT rely on NOR uses your device's built-in IR sensor to work. You may USE this app REGARDLESS of the presence of such sensor in your phone.
BUT to use this app, you MUST HAVE:
1. an Arduino
2. a Bluetooth module
3. a generic IR LED
4. one-time access to a computer (optionally, with an active internet connection) for using Arduino IDE and loading the Arduino Sketch (provided within the app) into your Arduino.
5. jumper wires/connectors/breadboard or any means to establish the required connections between the electronic components.
ALSO, OPTIONALLY, depending on your need, you might require an IR receiver to get the IR codes of other devices you want to control, if you don't already have the required IR codes and then reconfigure the PROVIDED Arduino Sketch.
More help and detailed information can be found within the app.
Key Features of the app:
