AMPL: EQ & Volume Booster

AMPL is an Android equalizer and volume booster for music. Add loudness boost, shape the bass and treble, and fine-tune your sound with an amplifier-inspired interface and a live analog-style VU meter.

Volume boost and sound control
• Add loudness boost with the MASTER knob.
• Tune a multiband equalizer, with 10-band EQ on supported devices.
• Adjust bass, treble and master volume with tactile rotary controls.
• Watch a live VU meter respond to your music.
• Enjoy an audio console designed for portrait and landscape.

How volume boost works
MASTER adjusts your phone's media volume up to MAX. Turn it beyond MAX to add loudness boost.

AMPL is not a music player. Use it alongside a compatible music app. EQ band count, volume boost and other effects vary by phone, player and audio output, including Bluetooth.

Try it with your music
Use audio effects free for 30 minutes each day. Time counts only while audio plays with AMPL effects on. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited effect use.

Optional permissions
Android microphone permission is required for the VU meter to measure internal playback; AMPL does not record audio or use microphone input. Notification access lets it show song information from compatible players.

Listen responsibly
Strong EQ or bass boosts can raise playback volume. Excessive volume and prolonged loud listening can damage your hearing. Start at a low volume, adjust gradually and take listening breaks.
