About Kbrd

Kbrd gives Android users a customizable keyboard with practical controls for everyday typing.

Choose a visual style, set text color, upload a keyboard background image, add optional icons on keys, and adjust how high the keyboard sits from the bottom of the screen. Use floating mode or docked mode depending on how you type.

Kbrd also includes emoji and GIF-style reaction shortcuts, plus tools to remove or lock selected letters. Locked keys can optionally use the phone password or biometric authentication before the key is typed.

Swipe up on the keyboard to open quick settings. From there, users can open the main settings screen, raise or lower the keyboard, switch between floating and docked mode, and close the quick panel.

Kbrd stores settings locally on the device. The keyboard does not collect typed text for analytics. Ads are shown in the settings app, and rewarded ads can unlock A, E, I, O, U.
