AnkiTrue: Anki Cards y Mapas

AnkiTrue is an app for organizing and reviewing your studies: flashcards and mind maps, all saved on your own device, without accounts, cloud storage, or a required internet connection.

ORGANIZE YOUR WAY
Create spaces (with optional names and photos) and, within them, nest groups and subgroups with virtually no limit. Cards and mind maps can reside directly in a space or within any group, as deep as you need.

Flashcards
• Front and back with rich text: bold, italics, underline, font size and type, highlighting, and bulleted, square, or numbered lists.

• Capture text directly from the camera with integrated optical character recognition (OCR), without leaving the app.

• Voice dictation for faster typing.

• Full-screen scrolling reader for long texts.

Mind Maps
Draw on a grid canvas with free zoom and scrolling. Five node shapes, editable text, connections and arrows between ideas, and undo/redo so you don't lose a single change.

FIND EVERYTHING INSTANTLY
Contextual search within each collection and global search with filters for spaces, groups, cards, and maps—both are case-insensitive, so you don't have to type perfectly.

SHARE OFFLINE
Share spaces, groups, cards, or maps with another device on your Wi-Fi network using a QR code, IP address, or an automatic .local name—no accounts, no uploading to any server. You can also transfer content peer-to-peer to another nearby app installation via Bluetooth, with automatic Wi-Fi switching if needed.

YOUR DATA, ALWAYS SAFE
Export and import all your content (including images) into a single JSON file, or create versioned local backups that you can list, restore, or delete from Settings—with scheduled automatic backups (daily, weekly, or monthly) so you don't have to remember.

CUSTOMIZED TO YOUR LIKING
Choose a light or dark theme, or the one your system uses, and a fully customizable accent color (color palette or free selector) that colors the entire app. Available in Spanish, English, French, and Simplified Chinese.

TRUE PRIVACY
AnkiTrue doesn't sync anything with any external servers or the cloud: there are no accounts or a proprietary backend. The only feature that uses the internet is the optional submission of suggestions or bug reports to the developer, and this is only activated if you choose to submit them. Sharing over a local network sets up a small read-only server on your own device, accessible only by other devices on your network, and shuts down as soon as you stop sharing.

Study your way, organize your data as you prefer, and maintain complete control over your information.
