About AirParcel
AirParcel is mail that has to fly.
You write to someone, you choose an aircraft, and it leaves your airport for
theirs. Then you wait. A prop from London to Paris is a short hop. The same
prop to Sydney is most of a day. Nothing arrives instantly, because nothing
that actually crosses an ocean arrives instantly.
That waiting is the whole point. A message you cannot take back for six hours
is a message you write differently.
WHAT YOU SEND
Letters. Photographs. Voice notes. Documents. All of it goes in the hold,
all of it lands together, and none of it is readable until the aircraft is
down and the recipient opens it.
A CORRESPONDENCE, NOT A FEED
Everything you and one person have sent each other sits in one place, in
order, the way a bundle of letters does. You can see what is still in the air.
You can answer without leaving the page.
YOUR FLEET
You start with a Courier Prop — slow, small, free to fly. Deliver enough and
the Regional Freighter and the Heavy Lifter are yours. Fly enough and the
Jet Freighter and the Falcon Express open up. Faster aircraft cost Fuel and
carry more; the slow one always remains, and it is always free to fly.
3,244 AIRPORTS, 233 COUNTRIES
Choose the airport you fly from. Turn the globe, find the field you grew up
near, and make that your home. Every airport where someone has settled is a
light on the map.
ANSWERING IS FREE
Fuel buys speed and capacity, never the right to reply. When somebody writes
to you for the first time, your first answer to them costs nothing, on any
aircraft — so a conversation can always be started, and always be finished.
You begin with 50 Fuel. You can buy more if you want to fly faster and carry
heavier, and you never have to.
SAFETY
Letters are private to the two people in them. Report and block are on every
correspondence, attachments are screened before they are delivered, and a
reported parcel can be held on the ground rather than delivered.
Write to someone properly. Let it fly.
