VibeTrace Vibration Meter
Track motion with a vibration meter, live XYZ traces, peaks, and event history.
About VibeTrace Vibration Meter
VibeTrace Vibration Meter turns your phone's motion sensor into a clear, local vibration workspace. Place the device on a surface, start a measurement, and watch movement across all three axes in real time.
LIVE VIBRATION METER
• Read gravity-free acceleration from the phone's motion sensor
• View X, Y, Z, or combined resultant traces
• Track current movement, RMS, average, peak, and elapsed time
• See a short-window spectrum with an estimated dominant frequency
SAVE AND REVIEW EVENTS
• Stop a measurement to save the event locally
• Review date, duration, intensity, RMS, average, peak, and frequency
• Open a compact saved waveform for each event
• Share a plain-text event summary through Android when you choose
TUNE THE SENSOR
• Adjust sensitivity for different phones and surfaces
• Set a peak threshold for clear in-app highlighting
• Optionally keep the screen awake while the app is in use
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Core measurement runs on your device and requires no account. Saved summaries and compact waveforms stay in local app storage. Network access is used by the advertising SDK when an ad is requested.
IMPORTANT LIMITS
Readings depend on accelerometer quality, Android filtering, phone placement, and physical contact with the measured surface. The frequency display is an estimate based on a short sample window. VibeTrace is not a certified seismometer, safety monitor, earthquake detector, or emergency alert system.
Advertising may appear to support continued development without changing the core vibration meter workflow.
