Zoroastrian Sacred Universe

Zoroastrian Sacred Universe is an immersive educational app exploring the spiritual, cosmological, ethical and textual world of ancient Iranian tradition.

Discover 32 sacred powers and opposing forces, from Ahura Mazda, Asha, Mithra and Anahita to Angra Mainyu and the Dark Arc. Each entry combines historical and textual study with clearly labelled interpretive material, keeping ancient evidence distinct from modern synthesis.

PERSIAN / FARSI LANGUAGE SUPPORT

A major new feature is a dedicated Persian-language edition for Farsi-speaking readers.

The Persian edition is not simply an English interface translation. Sacred material has been approached directly from Avestan into Persian, including the Gathas, selected Yashts and traditional prayers. This avoids an Avestan → English → Persian translation chain.

Persian features:
• Farsi-first interface and navigation
• Full Persian Codex for all 32 powers
• Complete Living Gathas in Persian
• Selected Yashts in Persian
• Persian sacred prayers
• Persian Introduction and Companion
• Direct Avestan → Farsi translation approach
• English translation available for comparison

EXPLORE THE 32 POWERS

Journey through an illustrated Codex of 32 Zoroastrian divine, spiritual and opposing powers. Explore identities, functions, relationships, symbols, primary-text evidence and later developments.

The Codex includes both the Holy Arc and Dark Arc.

THE LIVING GATHAS

Enter the sacred textual heart of Zoroastrianism through the Gathas of Zarathushtra.

Explore the complete Gathic sequence across Yasna 28–34, 43–46, 47–51 and 53, with structured study material, transliteration, translation layers and textual context.

The Persian edition presents these materials through a direct Avestan → Farsi pathway.

SELECTED YASHTS

COMPANION

PRAYER & MUSIC

An original instrumental soundtrack supports exploration and contemplation.

SACRED CALENDAR

Explore months, sacred days, Gahambars, seasonal observances and traditional Zoroastrian sacred time.

HISTORICAL + INTERPRETIVE LAYERS

The app distinguishes between:
• Old Avestan / Gathic material
• Younger Avestan tradition
• Later Zoroastrian developments
• Modern interpretive synthesis

Interpretive and psychological material is clearly separated from historical claims.

A LIVING ENCYCLOPEDIA

Move freely between the Codex, sacred texts, Companion, Introduction, artwork, prayer and study tools. Characters, concepts and themes link directly to related texts and powers.

Designed for phones and tablets in portrait and landscape orientation.

Whether you are discovering Zoroastrianism for the first time, returning through Persian language study, or exploring the Avestan textual world in greater depth, Zoroastrian Sacred Universe offers a connected gateway into one of humanity’s oldest surviving religious traditions.
