The largest shareholder is the Aachen City Region (formerly the Aachen District) with a share of more than 50%. Also involved: Aachener Straßenbahn und Energiebedarfs AG, Provinzial Versicherung AG, Sparkassen Immobilien GmbH and the cities of Alsdorf, Eschweiler, Herzogenrath, Stolberg, Würselen and the municipality of Simmerath.
