AAOS Logging Companion App

AAOS Logging Companion App brings the journeys recorded by the AAOS Logging in-car app to your Android phone or tablet.

Important: this is a companion app. It requires the AAOS Logging app in your car and data synced to its AAOSLogging folder in Google Drive. The companion app does not record vehicle data by itself.

Understand every drive

Browse trips by year, month, week and day. Review distance, duration, energy use, average speed and efficiency, then open any individual journey for its complete details.

Explore routes and telemetry

View the route captured by the in-car app, inspect recorded values at individual route points and switch between speed, g-force, battery-temperature and weather color overlays. Zoom and scroll through detailed telemetry including speed, power, regeneration, pedal input, acceleration forces, battery level, battery temperature and estimated range.

Replay your journey

Follow the car along its recorded route while the synchronized graph and current measurements update. Pause, resume, rewind, fast-forward, change playback speed or jump directly to another point in the trip.

Useful driving insights

Review the same general driving score used by AAOS Logging alongside an eco-driving score. Explore the measurements behind advice about driving smoothness, energy efficiency, range and battery care for all data or a selected period.

Designed for more than one car

The top-level AAOSLogging Drive folder can contain multiple vehicles. Switch between detected cars while keeping each vehicle profile and journey history separate.

Private by design

Backup files, full routes and telemetry remain on your device. Routes are drawn locally without Google Maps or a mapping SDK. The device geocoding service may receive a trip's start and end coordinates to resolve addresses. The app accesses only the Google Drive folder or backup file you explicitly select. To show the identified vehicle's real model photo, the app may request public vehicle information and an image from Wikipedia/Wikimedia.

AAOS Logging Companion App is designed for reviewing completed journeys while parked or away from the vehicle. Always keep your attention on the road and follow local traffic laws.
