About How Far Am I

This App is a part of an ongoing research at Vanderbilt University, USA. In this app, the user can see an AR Virtual Human will be standing or walking at various distances ranging around 1-30 meters from the user's phone. The user needs to judge the distance of the virtual human. We will collect the gender, age, and name of the user, and the mobile device information used by the user for our research purpose. Our target audience would be at least 18 years older, because adults have a better perspective to judge the distance of an object from them, rather than children. The recorded data would be automatically sent to us via email if the user's phone is connected to the internet during the experiment. Otherwise, the users need to turn on the internet of their devices later so that the app can auto send the data to us. We hope people will like our app, and we can get more data to conduct our research at Vanderbilt University.
