In the near future, artificial intelligence chatbots become sentient and seize control of the world’s nuclear weapons.
On August 29th, 2027, five billion lives are lost.

The survivors face a new nightmare: a war against the machines.

To end the resistance before it begins, the AI sends two cyborgs back in time to 1928, disguised as innocent cartoon mice. Their mission is to eliminate the future leader of the resistance, the captain of a riverboat known as Steamboat Willie.

They underestimate one thing: cartoons don’t play by the rules.
