WHAT IS IMMERSIVE LEARNING?

The term 'immersive' refers to an experience that deeply engages and captivates a person's senses, emotions, and attention, creating a sense of being fully surrounded and absorbed in a particular environment or activity. Reading a good book, listening to a recording, playing a game—all these can be immersive experiences if the participant is truly engrossed in the activity.

Learning can be made more memorable, more enjoyable and more successful through immersion and gamification. Sandbox is designed to immerse learners in a time or place and forge emotional connections to learning, resulting in longer-lasting knowledge retention and sparking lifelong interest for a topic.
