Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will be launched this Amrit Brikshya Andolan on 17th September, 2023. On this day between 9 to 11 AM this plantation drive held in the state. In this Brikha Andolan you have to plant a commercial trees with Geo Tagging Photos. Those who are SHGs Members, ASHA Workers even individuals also be a part of Amrit Vriksh Andolan.

Objective of Amrit Brikha Andolan

1 .1 cr seedlings to be planted across State
2. Commercial tree planting by Self Help Group Member, ASHA workers and supervisors, Police, Educational institutes, Anganwadi workers etc
3. Registration to be done on Mobile App
4. Financial grant of Rupees 100 will be given as Direct Beneficiary Transfer after planting the seedling and uploading the image onto the portal.
5. Rs. 200 to be paid in 3rd Year on survival of the plant
6. Geotagged Photos have to be uploaded to avail the financial grant.


One of the main objective to starting Amrit Brikshya Andolan is to make Assam more greenery than today. Through this event citizens of Assam have chance to earn 300 INR per plant. One of the main benefits of this Andolan is you don’t have to spend any money to buy a commercial plant from the Government. Because they organise well distribution system in the state for plantation.
