🔍 DISCOVERY MODES
- Connect: probe one IP instantly.
- Scan: detect your subnet and probe hosts in a user-defined range in parallel.
- Works with local subnets or a reachable external subnet.
- Works with standard port 502 or a custom port.
- User-configurable timeout to work with slow devices.

📋 GENERIC MODBUS SUPPORT
- Generic Modbus detection: identifies Modbus TCP devices.
- Read registers / coils and, in plus version, write registers / coils.

- SunSpec detection: validates the SunSpec "SunS" signature and reads Common Model data.

ℹ️ NOTES
Modbus is an open industrial communication protocol widely used by automation and energy devices. SunSpec builds on Modbus by defining a standardized data model, enabling interoperable communication with most modern grid-tied inverters, including many models from Fronius, SMA, SolarEdge, KACO new energy, Huawei, and others.

Modbus TCP must be enabled in your device settings. Consult your device manual if discovery fails or if a non-default port is required.
