Reduit Inventar Manager

Ready for anything? Optimize your emergency supplies with Reduit Inventory.

Whether you're preparing for a crisis or simply want a well-organized pantry, Reduit Inventory is your smart solution for keeping track of your food and emergency supplies. Based on the official recommendations of the Swiss Federal Office for Civil Protection (FOCP), this app helps you manage your supplies professionally, safely, and efficiently.

Thanks to intelligent barcode scanning and automatic expiration date detection (text recognition), inventory has never been easier!

Key features at a glance:

🏔️ Swiss Reduit Templates & Stock Check

Official Guidelines: Over 35 predefined templates for water, basic foodstuffs, medications, energy, and more.

Target/Actual Comparison: The stock check shows you at a glance whether you meet the recommendations or need to upgrade.

Priorities: Instantly differentiate between essential, critical, and routine supplies.

📷 Smart Scanner with OCR Text Recognition

Capture in a Flash: Scan barcodes (EAN, UPC, QR) – the app automatically pulls product data from 6 major databases (Open Food Facts, Open Pet Food Facts, OpenGtinDb, etc.).

Live Camera Analysis (OCR): Hold your product up to the camera and the app reads the expiration date (best before, expiration date, etc.) directly from the packaging in real time!

Multi-Step Flow: Scan barcode → automatically detect expiration date → take a photo of the product. All in one seamless process.

📦 Perfect Inventory Management

Expiration Date Tracking: Color-coded chips (red/orange/neutral) warn you in time about products nearing their expiration date.

Multiple Expiration Dates: Easily manage the same item with different expiration dates.

Everything at a Glance: Sort by name, expiration date, or category and export your inventory as a CSV or PDF.

📤 Efficient Dispensing Workflow

Reaching for something from your supplies? Simply scan the barcode or use the quick swipe.

🎨 "Swiss Precision" Design & Modern Interface

Clean, uncluttered Material 3 design with full Dark Mode support.

Intuitive operation with quantity steppers (+/-) and direct input by tapping the number.

Clear item cards with your own photos help you find everything in the basement instantly.

📊 Emergency Supplies Dashboard

How many days will your supplies last? Set your target range (3-30 days) and the dashboard automatically calculates your supply days for water, calories, and macronutrients – based on your household profile (age, gender) and even for your pets.

☁️ Cloud Sync & Household Sharing

Sync your inventory across multiple devices via Google Login and Firebase. Create a household, share it with family members via QR code, and keep your supplies up-to-date together – in real time. The household profile (members & pets) is also automatically synchronized.

📱 Tablet-optimized

On tablets, the app takes advantage of the larger display: 2-column lists, side-by-side dashboard cards, and optimized dialogs.

🔒 Offline First & Privacy

Your data belongs to you. All data is stored locally on your device – the app works completely offline. Cloud sync is optional and only active with Google login. No tracking, no ads, encrypted connections.

⚠️ Note: This app is not an official offering from any government agency. Reduit Inventory is operated by an independent developer and is not affiliated with the Swiss Confederation or the Federal Office for Civil Protection (FOCP).
