About Cue
Cue turns "we should get together soon" into a plan that actually happens.
Everyone just writes when they can make it, in their own words and their own language: "Wednesday works best", "any evening after five", "not the weekend". Cue reads the replies, spots the overlap, and suggests the time that suits the group, showing its reasoning so the final say stays with you and your friends. No grid to fill in, no poll to vote on — a quick reply is all it takes.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Start an event in seconds — a title, the times that might work, and the people you want there
• Answer in your own words instead of ticking boxes, and change your mind whenever you like
• Read Cue's suggestion for the best time, with the reasoning behind it
• Catch the weather forecast for an outdoor plan before you commit
• Invite by name, by email, or by sharing a link through any app on your phone
• Organize as you go — add or drop times, edit the details, settle on a time, or call it off
• Hand the settled time to your own calendar app, pre-filled — Cue never asks for calendar access
• Watch it all update live — when someone answers on their phone across town, your screen changes without a pull-to-refresh
BUILT FOR ANDROID
Cue is written natively in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. It takes its colours from your wallpaper through Material You, honours your dark theme, adapts from phone to unfolded foldable to tablet, and works with TalkBack. Your events are cached on the device, so the app opens with your plans already on screen — on the Underground, on a plane, or on no signal at all.
QUIET BY DESIGN
No ads. No third-party trackers or analytics SDKs. No feed, no streaks, no notifications inventing reasons to open the app. Cue exists to settle a plan and then get out of the way.
Cue is also on the web at getcue.net, on iPhone, on Mac, and in your terminal — the same plans, wherever you are.

What’s new
Version 0.7.1 · Updated September 21, 2026
Edge-to-edge is now declared in the app theme instead of the deprecated Android window APIs. Same look on Android 13 through 17: content behind transparent system bars, into the display cutout, bar icons following dark mode.
