MEDCAP is an application designed for remote interfacing with the equipment of the same name, developed to assist in measuring and analyzing the capacitance of capacitor banks in the field, without the need for complete disassembly of the assemblies. Its use contributes to preventive maintenance, allowing for the rapid identification of damaged, degraded, or out-of-specification capacitors, enabling the immediate replacement of compromised elements.

Through the application, the user can monitor measurements in real time, track the equipment's battery level, access internally saved files, view test results, and support decision-making regarding the approval or rejection of evaluated capacitors. In this way, MEDCAP helps reduce capacitor bank downtime, optimize maintenance activities, and decrease operational costs associated with failures or corrective interventions.
