Braine Explorer

Braine Explorer is the app for local businesses in Braine-l'Alleud. It turns your walks into a game: walk, discover the town's landmarks and shops, collect their cards, and earn Lions to exchange for gift vouchers at participating businesses.

WALK
The app counts your steps. Every 1,000 steps earns you 1 Lion. Open the app before midnight to validate your daily steps.

DISCOVER
Each day, a location in Braine-l'Alleud is randomly selected: the Lion's Mound, the Town Hall, Saint-Étienne Church, Hougoumont Farm, and more. Go there, and its card will unlock automatically, with Lions to be won depending on its rarity.

COLLECT
Each participating business has its own card. Scan the QR code displayed in the shop to add it to your album. Over one hundred businesses are waiting for you.

PLAY
Regular challenges, a series of days to maintain, and a mystery shop to guess each day from the comfort of your home.

SPEND YOUR LIONS
Exchange them for gift vouchers to use at the participating shop of your choice. Show the code at the counter, and you're done.

YOUR LION
Personalize your lion with outfits, glasses, and hats from the wardrobe.

Braine Explorer is free, with no targeted advertising, and your location never leaves your phone except to validate a card on-site. An app by Laurent Notté, made available to the Braine-l'Alleud Merchants and Artisans Association to support local businesses.
