Coinbook keeps your money on your phone. Not on our servers — we do not have any. There is no sign-up, no account, no ads and no trackers. Open the app and start logging.
WHY COINBOOK IS DIFFERENT
• COMPLETELY LOCAL. Every transaction, account, receipt and budget lives in a SQLCipher-encrypted database on your own device. It is not uploaded, not synced to us, and not backed up anywhere you did not choose.
• WE KEEP NOTHING. Coinbook has no servers and no user accounts, so there is nothing for us to hold. We cannot see your balance, your spending or your receipts, because none of it ever reaches us.
• NO TRACKING. No analytics, no advertising SDKs, no device fingerprinting. Nothing follows you around. Crash logs are written to your phone and stay there unless you choose to share one with us.
• NO ADS. NOT NOW, NOT LATER. Coinbook is free and stays free. You will never see an ad, a paywall, a subscription prompt, or a "premium" feature held back.
• WORKS OFFLINE. Aeroplane, train, basement — Coinbook does not need a connection, because your ledger already lives on your phone.
• CONNECT YOUR OWN AI. Coinbook has no AI costs baked into a subscription. If you want a hand, paste in your own API key from Claude, OpenAI or Gemini and the assistant will read a receipt or turn a sentence into a transaction. It talks directly from your phone to the provider you chose — never through us. It is off by default, entirely optional, and the app is complete without it.
