SYSCAM TV

SYSCAM TV turns your television into the monitor for your security cameras.

It connects directly to your DVR, XVR or NVR over your home or business network, and shows your cameras full screen or in a grid, all with the remote control. No accounts, no sign-up and no manufacturer cloud: the video goes from your recorder to your TV and never passes through any server.

BUILT FOR THE REMOTE CONTROL

Most camera apps are phone apps stretched onto a TV: you have to move a pointer around the screen and guess where to click. SYSCAM TV works with the arrow keys and OK, just like a recorder's menu.

• 4, 9 and 1+7 grids (one large and seven small), just like a DVR.
• Automatic tour, as on a DVR: it changes page on its own or rotates the large camera of the 1+7 grid.
• Pressing an arrow against the edge changes page.
• Full screen with OK, and back with the usual button.
• Adjustable screen margin, for TVs that crop the edges.
• Choose between light quality (substream) or smooth quality (main stream), depending on what your device can handle.

SET UP FROM YOUR PHONE

If typing with the remote is uncomfortable, the TV shows a QR code: with your phone on the same Wi-Fi, enter your devices using the phone's keyboard. The connection goes straight from the phone to the TV, without going through the internet.

OPEN STANDARDS, NOT CLOUDS

• RTSP for video, over TCP.
• ONVIF and WS-Discovery to find devices on your network automatically.
• If a device does not answer over ONVIF, you can pick the address format by brand, or paste the full RTSP address by hand.
• Works with recorders and cameras that support RTSP and ONVIF, including Dahua, Hikvision, EZVIZ, Uniview and TVT.

PUBLIC WEB CAMERAS TOO

Besides your recorder, you can add public cameras streamed over the internet, such as those of a town hall or a beach, by pasting their address. They share the same grid with your own cameras.

These streams always arrive in high quality, because they do not offer a light version the way a recorder does. That is why how many can be shown at once depends on the power of your TV or device, not on the app. On modest devices, it is best not to go beyond four per page.

PER-CAMERA LOCK

Each camera can be locked with a password. Its cell stays black and the stream is not even opened. It is meant for businesses with staff, where there is a camera not everyone needs to see.

IN FIVE LANGUAGES

The app is available in Spanish, English, Portuguese, French and Italian, and the language can be changed from Settings at any time. Texts and error messages are properly translated, with no terms left to guess. Support is provided in Spanish.

WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET

Once set up, SYSCAM TV does not need the internet to show your cameras: being on the same network as the recorder is enough.

TRIAL AND LICENSE

Includes a 15-day trial with up to 8 cameras. After that, it is activated with a code provided by SYSTEC. The license is paid only once: there is no monthly fee or yearly renewal, and it includes updates for as long as the product remains in service.

WHAT YOU NEED

• A DVR, XVR, NVR or IP cameras that support RTSP, on the same network as the TV.
• The username and password for that device.
• An Android TV or Google TV device with Android 7 or later.
