About Unbilled: Name the Actor

One actor a day. Everyone gets the same one.

You start with two credits from their career, and they're deliberately not the ones you'd remember. A bit part in something from 2004. A supporting turn nobody quotes. Work your way up and the roles get more familiar, until the last one gives the whole thing away.

Name them before you get there.

You've got 1000 points and five guesses. Every extra credit you open costs you, and so does every clue. So your score isn't really about whether you got it. It's about how little you needed.

Some days you'll see the first title and know instantly. Some days you'll burn four credits, two clues and four guesses, and get there with 300 points and feel like you've earned it. Both are good days.

Then you share the sheet and find out your friend did it in one.

WHAT YOU GET

A new card at midnight, London time. Same card for everyone, everywhere, so there's something to argue about.

A share card that shows how you did without giving the answer away. Send it to someone who hasn't played and they can still have a proper go.

A table with your friends on it, and a bigger one with everyone else.

An index of every actor you've named, filed by surname, which fills up slowly and is quietly one of the better bits.

A run to keep going, and to be annoyed about when you break it.

NO NONSENSE

It's free. There's no sign-up wall, so you can just play. Claim a name if you want to be on the table, or don't, and it'll still remember your run.

Spelling barely matters. Surname on its own is usually plenty. If you know who it is, you shouldn't lose points to a missing accent.

Six languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Thai and French.

Career data comes from Wikidata, which is open. No posters, no stills, no logos. We're not affiliated with any studio or streamer and we don't pretend to be.

A quick word on the credits: they're picked so the early ones are things plenty of people have seen but nobody associates with that actor. That's the whole game. If the first card feels like it could be half of Hollywood, that's on purpose.

Version 1.0.13 · Updated September 20, 2026

Last update made a lot of text bigger. Turns out it missed a few spots. The Day, Week and Streak switcher on the Table. The whole bit explaining how streaks work. The numbers after a round, the review ask, a couple of the share screens. All still too small. Fixed now. Should actually be readable everywhere this time.
