About Domino Vault

Domino Vault is a dominoes game for one player and three opponents that run
entirely on your phone. No ads, no network, no account, and nothing to buy:
every part of the app is open from the first launch.

THE RULES, IN FULL
A double-six set of 28 tiles, seven to each of the four players. The first
round is opened by whoever holds the 6-6; if nobody has it, the 5-5, and so on
down, and with no double at all the heaviest tile opens. Play goes clockwise, a
tile only goes on an open end whose number it matches, and a double is laid
crosswise.

DRAW AND BLOCK
Draw: when nothing in your hand fits you take from the boneyard until something
does, and you may pass only once it is empty. Block: there is no boneyard at
all, and a player with nothing to play passes. Both modes are there from the
first launch.

HOW A ROUND SCORES
A round ends when somebody plays their last tile, which is a domino, or when
all four players pass in a row. Going out takes every pip left on the other
three hands. A blocked round goes to the lowest hand: the other three totals
minus its own, and when two hands are equally low the round closes and nobody
scores. Pips are counted exactly as they fall, with no rounding to fives.
First to 50, 100 or 150 points wins the game.

FOUR OPPONENTS, ALL OPEN
Rookie plays a random legal tile three times in ten. Steady tracks what has
gone out and sheds weight. Sharp works out which numbers you do not hold from
the ends you passed on, and blocks with them. Counter weighs how likely every
unseen number still is and plays the ends that are hardest to answer. None of
them ever looks at your tiles: they see the table, how many tiles each player
holds and what you passed on, and nothing else.

A TABLE YOU CAN READ
The line snakes onto a new row when it reaches the edge, and it is scaled so
the whole of it stays visible. Pinch to zoom, drag to scroll, or use Fit, minus
and plus. Tap a tile to see which ends it fits, then tap the end; with only one
end open to it, the tile goes down straight away.

ROUND HISTORY AND THE TRACKER
Round History shows every round of a game: who went out, the pips left on each
hand, what the round scored and how often each player passed. The Tracker panel
shows which numbers have already gone out and how many tiles are left in the
boneyard. Both are open from the first launch, and so are ten hints a round.

YOUR GAME IS SAVED
Leave in the middle of a round and come back to the same hands, the same line,
the same boneyard, the same score and the same deal.

STATISTICS
Games and rounds by mode and by level, win rate, average points for a won
round, best round, dominoes and blocked rounds, pips left when you lose, passes
a round, tiles drawn from the boneyard, and your current and best win streak.

COINS ARE EARNED BY PLAYING
Coins come from won rounds, going out, leaving the other three with a heavy
hand, won games, win streaks and your first game of the day. They pay for a
hint, an undo and the extra table themes, tile sets and tile backs. They cannot
be bought: the app sells nothing and takes no payments.

NOT A GAMBLING GAME
There are no bets, no chips, no wheels and no prizes. Coins cannot be won by
wagering, cannot be transferred to another player and cannot be exchanged for
anything outside the app.

OFFLINE AND PRIVATE
The app has no network code at all. Nothing is collected, nothing is sent
anywhere, no advertising identifier is read, and it asks for no permissions: no
camera, no microphone, no location, no contacts, no notifications.
