About SwissZen: Mindfulness Toolkit
One app, five small instruments. Pick the one that fits the moment — a minute is enough.
Most mindfulness apps are one big program you have to commit to. SwissZen is a pocket knife: open it, unfold the one tool you need right now, close it again. No account, no ads, no internet — everything stays on your phone.
🫁 BREATHE · GUIDED PACE
A calm sphere grows on the inhale and settles on the exhale.
• Box 4-4-4-4, Calm 4-7-8, Coherent 5-5
• 2, 5 or 10 minute sessions
• Pause exactly where you are
• Soft breath sound that follows the rhythm
❄️ BREATHE · POWER ROUNDS
Guided power breathing in rounds, in the style of the Wim Hof method:
• Fully in — let go, with a breath counter
• Hold on empty lungs with a stopwatch and a target for every round
• 15-second recovery breath and a round summary
• Four levels from Beginner to Expert, plus your own custom preset
• Adjustable breathing tempo
🔔 MINDFULNESS BELL
A gentle chime that rings even when the app is closed:
• Random (every 15–90 min), fixed interval, or set times of day
• Quiet hours, so it never wakes you up
• Tap "I paused" and note what you noticed
🌿 PRACTICES
• Five micro-practices of 1–5 minutes: 5-4-3-2-1 grounding, body scan, notice three things, start-of-day pause, gratitude minute
• Five timed meditations of 5–20 minutes: breath anchor, loving-kindness, mountain, walking, sleep wind-down
✍️ JOURNAL
One line a day against a rotating prompt. Streak, week view and an Echo — a line you wrote a few weeks ago, brought back.
🏠 HOME
Today's minutes breathed, bells heard and lines written, your streak, and when you last used each tool.
ALSO
• English and Russian
• Light and dark theme
• Free and open source (MIT)
• Works fully offline, no data collection
SAFETY
Always practice power breathing sitting or lying down — never in or near water and never while driving. Breathing exercises are not medical treatment. If you have a heart condition, epilepsy, are pregnant or unsure, talk to a doctor first.
SwissZen is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wim Hof or Innerfire BV.
