About StorySplit: Video Splitter
Split long videos into shorter clips with StorySplit. Choose a part length, trim the section you want, and save numbered video parts to your gallery for sharing.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose a video with Android's system picker.
2. Pick 15, 30 or 60 seconds, or a custom length from 5 to 600 seconds.
3. Trim the selection if needed, check the parts preview, and tap Split & save.
4. Share the saved parts through Instagram or Android's share chooser. You finish posting in the receiving app.
CONTROL YOUR CUTS
• Preview the plan: see cut markers and planned part lengths before exporting.
• Balance parts: spread the selected duration across parts to avoid a very short final clip. With keyframe alignment enabled, individual lengths may vary.
• Cut on keyframes: when the source allows it, aligned cuts can reduce re-encoding. Parts may be shorter than the chosen maximum.
• Optional part badges: add a small part number such as 1/3. Adding a badge re-encodes the video and takes longer; HDR video is converted to SDR when this option is used.
• Find previous splits in History and share parts that are still saved on your phone.
SAVE AND SHARE
StorySplit saves parts to your gallery with numbered file names. Gallery apps can sort media differently; use the part numbers to check the posting order. Choose a length that suits the destination's current limits.
Export speed and quality depend on the source video, your device and export options. StorySplit copies video when possible, but some cuts or options require re-encoding. It adds no StorySplit logo or watermark; the part badge is optional.
ON-DEVICE VIDEO PROCESSING
Video splitting happens on your phone. StorySplit does not upload your videos for processing, and you do not need an account. It uses Android's system picker so you can choose a video without granting broad access to your gallery. Diagnostic and usage reporting is described in the privacy policy; usage statistics can be turned off in Settings.
There are no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases.
The app supports English, Hebrew, Arabic, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Indonesian, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Polish and Dutch.
