RTK Kit

RTK Kit is a field tool for contractors. Use it to stake layout from a plot plan, capture points, and check cut and fill while you dig.

It works with your phone's built-in GPS right away. Phone GPS is fine for rough layout and getting close. When the job needs tighter numbers, connect an external RTK GNSS receiver over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (TCP NMEA), with NTRIP corrections, and RTK Kit uses that position instead. A receiver is optional.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Layout: capture points, build surfaces from points, square off from a baseline, and set up grade paths for trenches and swales.
• Plan Import: bring in a PDF, image, or KMZ plot plan, tie it to control points, and stake right against the drawing.
• Cut/fill readout: a large display that shows how far you are above or below target. Set a target by hand, or lock it to a surface or grade path.
• Site localization: line your live position up with the job's control.
• Export: share points and surfaces as KML, or move a whole job to another device as a project bundle.
• Feet or meters, your choice.

BUILT FOR THE JOB SITE
• No account and no sign-up. Open it and go to work.
• Your jobs are saved on your device. Nothing goes to us unless you choose to export or email it.
• Location is used only while the app is open.

GOOD TO KNOW
RTK Kit is a layout and grade-checking aid. It is not a survey, it does not set legal property lines, and it does not control equipment. Accuracy depends on your device or receiver, corrections, sky view, and control. Elevation lookups from public data sources are estimates. Check critical work with a method that fits your job before you cut, fill, or pour.
